Hello and welcome to my world!
As a stay-at-home mom, I worked from home doing alterations and crafting gifts for all occasions. When my youngest child started school, I joined the workforce and had a successful career that spanned over 35 years.
I never lost my love and passion for creating. When I retired from the outside workforce, I decided the time had come and went back to what I truly love. I've come full circle.
I’ve always loved trying anything and everything that got my creative juices flowing, but my true passion was the sewing machine. In 2018, truME Collection was launched, and in 2023, I introduced Dani's Pawtique.
You can do anything and accomplish whatever you want on this life's journey, no matter where you are on that journey. You simply need to be tru to yourself.

I got this for my Mom, also a Darlene, to help with the arthritic pain in her hands. I'd requested that she make them smaller than normal since my Mom is a petite person. The request was overlooked in the holiday rush (which turned out to be a good thing). Shop owner apologized extensively and said she would make a new pair and re-send at no charge. They actually turned out to be the perfect size - my Mom said had they been any smaller it would have been uncomfortable. Trust the process and thanks so much Darlene - these are a treat! :)
